I have problem where I'm trying to determine the Overall Heat Transfer coefficient of a heat exchanger that uses the latent heat of vaporization of water in the process.

I know the Q value I'm trying to get to, the heat transfer area, and the temperature differences.

I'm aware the standard equations being used here would be

Q = UAT and Q = mcpT

for a normal heat exchanger, but I'm not sure how that works alongside vaporization.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you.
