Centrifugal pump installations: a and b


I am stuck with a question related to the centrifugal pumps.

There are two centrifugal pump installations and it is asked to compare the power requirements for two installations. As in Pa>Pb or Pa=Pb etc.

At installation a, the exit of the pipe is above the water surface, in total delta z unit above the ground, whereas at installation b, the exit of the pipe is in the water with a distance z1 to the water surface and the water surface is delta z above the ground.

Athmospheric pressures are same for both installations.
