what is the chance of sustaining load if beam is 20 feet long as center pillar of house is removed in first floor and added 20 feet long beam with 20 mm rods in RCC beam?

House details :: 30*40 sq feet, g+2 storied building.

  • $\begingroup$ What have you looked for? Building regulations in most countries specify the calculations to use along with safety factors. You also need to supply details of the beam, a 4*4 in pine or steel rsg with a 20” depth @ 10” width? $\endgroup$ – Solar Mike Nov 13 '18 at 5:06
