I would like to ask about transfer floor in a high rise building project of 30 floors and a podium underneath and 2 basements. The structure in the tower and the podium varies from flat slabs, steel structure for wide spans, a huge shear wall around the tower's core etc. So with this structure the basement space become inefficient as a parking area so I'D like to transfer this whole structure to a 88 or 1616 grid of columns by using the transfer floor/slab  . The question is : is it applicable? And what is it's estimated thickness?

How can I estimate the required thickness of the transfer floor?
